What a little gem! Booked very last minute and pleasantly surprised by the peace and the view! We looked across fields full of sheep, away in the distance was the M42, a hum of vehicles that I didn’t even register after the first night. We were lucky with good weather and had a large lawned area to sunbathe and relax in. However, Redditch is only 6 minutes drive away for everything you may need, including all major supermarkets, restaurants etc. The beautiful Arrow Valley park is a lovely place to walk, or run (parkrun at 9am on a Saturday morning) and superb play areas for kids. Nearby, within 25 minutes are 3 excellent National Trust properties, Hanbury Hall, Baddesley Clinton and Packwood House. Plus so much more. At parkrun, a man was surprised to hear I was staying here on holiday, ‘ On holiday, in Redditch?’ No, on a working farm, surrounded by fields and totally peaceful. You do not have to go far to be in the countryside. The site is also a caravan and motorhome storage facility, with very good security systems in place. It is completely separate from the caravan part, unlike some sites where the caravans can be an eyesore. Not here. Looking forward to visiting again.
