Easter a 'Tale of two Halves'.

Easter a 'Tale of two Halves'. We stayed on Highmeadow Farm for 10 days, the welcome from Mr and Mrs Wood who run the CL could not have been more charming and helpful. We enjoy a lighthearted approach to life so smiles all round.  The site is brilliant a big field with plenty of choice as to where to pitch your outfit. We had a combination of Caravans and Motorhomes with the CL full for the Easter weekend. Oodles of space with electric hookup which we were advised was a recent addition to the CL good on the owners its what we want these days. The site offers very pleasant views in all direction with the addition of sheep gently bleating otherwise peace and tranquility.  The weather was brilliant for the Easter weekend then after if rained very hard at night and sporadically in the day mixed in with sunshine. The field drained very well and the dreaded mud and access was not a problem as the field has two ways in or out. Can highly recommend the CL coping with the vagaries of the UK Weather!  The surrounding countryside is ideal for Walking, 'Offa's Dyke' Symonds Yat', cycling in the 'Forest of Dean', canoeing down the River Wye.  The hiring bikes and canoes the outlets are only 15 /20 mins drive away with plenty of choice and a good number of outlets servicing beginners through to experts, how good is that! The Wye Vally scenery is beautiful and can be accessed by all we noted good access for disabled at most of the main attractions.
