What A Find!

Made our booking by email which was responded to promptly by Helen, the owner. Easy access and a choice of five level hard standing pitches all separated by hedges and each with their own bench. Super friendly owners who were able to give lots of information about the area - sheet provided. We used our bikes to explore the disused mineral lines which can be accessed at the bottom of the lane. Plenty of walking from the site - I managed a circular route taking in Carn Brae. Lots of supermarkets in Redruth/Camborne but if you only want milk/bread, there is a Morrison's Local at Troon about a mile and half from site. There is also a cafe at The King Edward Mine which is about a 20 minute walk from the site. The site has a small dog walking field available. There is also a toilet. I believe the site is Adults Only. Highly recommended and would definitely revisit if in the area. Cost for two adults was twenty pounds with electricity on a meter (we used about seven pounds over three days).
