A Great Site BUT should I tell you about it?

We have been visiting this site for over seven years. It is well worth travelling the final two and a half miles along narrow and sometimes single track roads to get to this splendid CL, which is set in glorious Devon countryside with terrific views down the valley. It is very peaceful and relaxing. You will need levelling blocks. You can (just) see the sea from the site and at night can see the lighthouse flashing. Your welcome from the owners will be very warm and friendly and they are always ready to advise on places to visit and the best eateries to dine at. Dartmouth, a wonderful place to visit, (boat trips, steam trains, fishing) is less than ten miles away; Kingsbridge, a lovely little town with lots of independent shops on its steep main steet, four miles away; whilst Salcombe, a super holiday / boating / fishing town is about ten miles away as well. Wonderful coastal paths abound (although some are quite steep!) Dartmoor is near and makes a good day trip. National Trust have car parks and some houses near. One special place to visit for foodies is the Riverford Field Kitchen (Totnes to Buckfastleigh Rd) - wonderful meals with a vast array of vegetable dishes (never knew veg could taste so good!) note - booking essential. Our family love this site and hope to return for many years to come - so please leave room for us!!
