Excellent site, friendly welcome
We've just spent 5 nights here and the site was excellent. Very handy having the serviced pitches and great views over the fields and down to the sea. Michael came out to welcome us, even in the torrential rain (which didn't last the whole trip luckily!) and was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
We were there to bag some more Wainwrights and the site has great access to the Western Fells and some of the Southern. Wasdale and the whole area is so beautiful, I wish we could have stayed for longer, but I am confident that we will be back very soon!
