Borders Beauty and Solitude
We received a warm welcome from Emma on arrival who walked us to the field showing us the facilities and giving us some helpful information on the area. The field is large and open, sunny with extensive views and firm ground for our motorhome when we visited. We were then left to choose our pitching location. The drinking water, grey waste and chemical waste points are all well separated, each with their own taps. We chose to stay on site exploring the immediate area with pleasant walks every day. Hermitage Hill is rewarding with great 360 degree views. The short walk from site to Hermitage Castle and Chapel is pleasant and flat. We booked for three nights at the end of August but stayed on for another night.
A very peaceful and lovely location with friendly owners. We will definitely visit again.
