Just back from a few days in Dumfries and Galloway, and stopped at Hemplands Farm on the way home.Easy to find and a warm welcome from the owners. Got a very comprehensive information folder.Site is on a slight slope, all grass, well maintained with a sheep maternity paddock right beside us! No lambs arrived when we were there! Great views over the surrounding valley and hills beyond. Perfect WiFi reception capped it off.Will definitely be back.

We have stayed on many CLs. Most of them are good. This one is outstanding. Nessie met us when we arrived and provided us with a comprehensive information pack on the local area. The site hasWIFi too. The all-grass pitches are beautifully maintained with stunning views across the surrounding countryside. Fresh water,rubbish bins and chemical toilet disposal handily placed and beautifully maintained. As motorhomers we don't need the toilet and shower blocks on a full site so this is ideal for us and a great stop of point for travelling further north or south.
