Great site

This site is close to Ely and many other places of interest. Just one of the best I have been to this year. If your in the area, this is the one to use. 10/10.

Fabulous site, fabulous welcome!

We stayed here whilst en-route from Kent to watch the Tour de France in Yorkshire at the start of July. Initially we intended staying for two nights only, returning after watching the race from Yorkshire further west, but this site was so perfectly peaceful and relaxing we decided to return on the way back. The site had everything we needed, is beautifully kept and all the facilities were spotlessly clean. We liked this site for many reasons, but it's the peace and quiet that we enjoyed the most. The unexpected, wonderfully warm welcome from the owners has to be mentioned here too, as after a long journey (or even a short one) the delicious tea and home-made cakes offered by the owners on arrival are a remarkably kind, thoughtful and most welcome touch. Nothing appears too much for the owners too - they're genuinely good, kind people. We will certainly return in the future.

Excellent CL

This is an excellent CL. The owners were away when we stayed, but there were clear instructions for us on arrival and the owner's father came by later to greet us and offer help if we needed it and advice on the local area. The site is very well set out and maintained and the facilities are excellent and very clean. There was also the added bonus of being able to pick plums from the trees on site. We wouldn't hesitate to use this site again.

The Best Site we have ever been too!!

We have been to lots of sites and C.L. sites and this is by far the best we have been too. It is not only a really well maintained site but it is also the extras that make it the best - other sites take note!! Shower and toilets are immaculately kept; shower is free and easy to control; shower has a curtain and tray to keep the water from the toilet area and is huge! grass is well trimmed and there is seating dotted around the site; site is very big so even with 5 caravans there is plenty of space for children to play;views are not blocked by trees; owners greet you with tea/coffee and cakes; there is a cupboard with local leaflets for you to use; owners will offer ideas for days out. All in all the best ever and we will go back! Thank you for having us!!

3 night break

This was our first visit to this CL and have used others in the area but this is certainly the best and will return again. Site is fairly level site with electric hook up and water tap on most pitches which is a great help also there is plenty of space.The toilets and walk in shower where very clean. A very small amount of traffic noise came be heard peak times only, this did not bother us or anyone else on site. Unfortunatley did not get to meet owners as they where away for the weekend. Very good site for nice short break.

A little gem in the fens

This is our first visit to a CL and it won't be the last to this site. Excellent site, very clean hot shower/toilet facility. Flat spacious pitches, lovely views over fields. Easy cycle distance into Ely, well worth visiting. Thank you for an enjoyable weekend.

Excellent CL

Reviewed as a small motorhome owner. Greeted by Mr Meeke on arrival. By the time we had selected our pitch welcoming tea/coffee and cakes arrived. Plenty of space with rear views over the countryside. The toilet facilities were the best we have seen at a CL. There is a large walk-in shower. There is another toilet in a separate building near the main gate. Mr and Mrs Meek made us very welcome and gave us information about the local area, it is only a 10 minute walk into Little Downham and a 20 minute cycle ride into the centre of Ely. (fairly flat). During the last 2 days of our 5 night stay Mr Meeks father looked after the CL as his son and wife were away. He made us aware of a couple of local places to visit and when we said that we were going to Cambridge by train he said that he would drive us to the railway station. This was our first visit to this Cl and it will not be our last. It is a little "Gem" The Meek family offer that little bit extra in welcoming and making sure that the site is kept in excellent condition.

Wonderful site

This is an absolutely fabulous site. We had a warm welcome with a much needed cuppa and a delicious cake. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The site is spacious and very neat and tidy with a very clean little loo/shower which was well stocked with a selection of soap/shampoo etc. I liked the fact that there was a gate to the site adding a level of security and access to the site was very good. Great for dog walking and very peaceful. We hope to visit again very soon.
