Great Site in South Pembrokeshire

We stayed here for 10 days in June 2018, primarily for access to the southern end of the Pembrokeshire coastal path.

We used the bus to get to Tenby and then picked up a connection to Amroth for a walk back to the site along the coast. We walked other sections through to Pembroke by parking and getting the coast path bus to the start of a walk back to the car.

We tried the two local pubs, but were disappointed with the Tudor Lodge for food. The closer Swanlake Inn was rather better.

If you're there on a Wednesday, the market in the Village Hall is good for home made delights that include bara brith, cakes, bread, preserves, etc!

The MoD Castlemartin firing range is not far away and is used during the week, with night firing on a Tuesday. There's a viewing area for the public, which is signposted in the area and might be worth a look, particularly if Challenger tanks are involved!

The CL's toilet / shower were kept clean and in good order.

We enjoyed our stay!
