This is probably the first and last time I visit a CL and get scones and jam home made, and absolutely delicious, THANK YOU!😋 also Karen is so easy to talk to, felt like I already knew her, she had loads of time for us and suggested things to do for our stay, we visited Sledmere which was lovely but we only did the grounds and gardens because we have Border Terriers, it’s definitely worth a visit, after that we went to a nice pub called the Blue Bell Weaverthorpe, which was a traditional cosy pub which served great food, we also visited Percy Wharram abandoned medieval village which had great views. The Pea Harvesters came whilst we were there but it didn’t bother us, but the smell was quite strong but not horrible, the following night the farmers harvested all through the...they work so hard! Again never bothered us. The site has nice views and there is a fab little hut with some essentials, games, magazines and books which might be appreciated on wet days/longer stays. We saw the resident Sow with her week old piglets, very very cute!
I would definitely recommend this site, but not too loudly in case it becomes too popular haha!
Well done Karen
What a great find.
What a great find this site is, a very warm welcome from the owners (which included a gift of scones and jam - very nice too!) to the great setting on the farm just outside Langtoft overlooking the rolling hill of the Yorkshire Wolds.
The site has level pitches and is well spread out, so plenty of space, even has an honesty shop with treats for your stay.
Really enjoyed the peace and quite, I will be returning.

Haven away from hustle and bustle of coast
Excellent, service,Carol rang us immediately back as she was busy at time of call.
Excellent C l! lovely flower bed on arrival and information hut.Facilities excellent, and a greeting with home made afternoon tea.
Well done ,thanks.
Lovely stay
We had a brilliant stay. Karen and family are lovely. Pitches are spacious with easy access to water points, we really liked how the site was separated into 3 stages as the site sloped. There was a little shed where you could buy( via a honesty box) essentials and the kids loved the ice creams and chocolate. At the bottom of the road there is a brilliant play area which we visited several times. Easy access to many local attractions,we visited Driffield, sewerby, bempton cliffs, flamorough head, Bridlington, Filey, Scarborough, hunmanby gap.

Brilliant
Excellent new site with first class facilities. Friendly welcome on arrival and a friendly check that all was well the next morning. Very quiet with lots of birdlife around. I have never seen so many spotted flycatchers!
What a find
Welcome gift on arrival was delicious and set the tone for a lovely stay, which did not disappoint
This was a great base from which to explore the surrounding areas and coastline.
James Martin boasts about Yorkshire pork and boy did we find some lovely chops at a local farm shop, cooked on a plancha they were delicious.
We explored many Dale's and enjoyed an afternoon on the Esk Valley Railway so much to see and do we were there nine days but we are going to have to go back as we couldn't see it all
£15 a night with ehu well maintained
Good luck to the family on running this CL a new venture for them

Lovely peaceful site: Owners provided an Amazing afternoon tea!
This is a lovely, peaceful site overlooking lots of green fields. There is a small shed on the site with an honesty box for ice creams, home made jam and other bits and bobs. We booked an afternoon tea before arrival (£12.50 pp but we shared one) and it was gorgeous!!! The owner of this site is a fabulous cook!!
The only downside (which is a minor one really) is that there isn’t much to do in the immediate vicinity. It’s a relatively short drive though to the coast and other places of interest. We took our motorhome for a drive to the coast and had a great time before returning to the peace and quiet of this lovely CL.
We stayed for 2 nights. Each pitch has an electric point and a gorgeous view. There are 2 water taps and the usual bins and waste disposal. The TV signal was excellent, as was the mobile phone signal.
Would I recommend this site? Absolutely!!!
Thank you xx
Views, birdsong, scones and relaxation
Lovely views over countryside, backed up with gorgeous bird song. Homemade scones and jam on arrival day :-). Very relaxing. Topped off with friendly owners - can’t ask for more. Oh, there is an honesty box and ice lollies! plus other items for sale to help you get by. Well done Karen and thank you.

Lovely warm Yorkshire welcome
Just returned from a fab few days at Hawthorn Farm. A lovely welcome from Karen, who did a little tour of the farm animals ponies, lambs, goats and donkeys, for the children (with a donation to charity). Great space for the kids to run around with wonderful views for us!
Great location for exploring East Yorkshire Coast, being at the beach within 20mins and countryside best of both worlds! We'll definitely be back.
