We are currently sitting in the warm enjoying the views through the window after a lovely day exploring. Very well kept site with ample facilities. I can only echo the other reviews when they say don't follow the sat nav but don't be put off like we nearly were, the instructions are simple and easy to follow. We will be back, I've got a feeling this may high up in our top ten.
Also if you are in too planes the gliders are fascinating to watch and fly silently over the site. Brilliant. Give it a go.
Good CL
We stayed here towards the end of August for 2 nights. Its a nice quiet site with hard standing pitches. The showers are just a stones throw away and they are nice and hot - one shower/toilet is bigger than the other which is good if you have a little one to get done at the same time.
Criticism is that the access is not very good and one way in takes you down a steep narrow lane with no passing places - just like Spudlylight mentions. Follow the directions in the book!!
I would use the CL again
Follow the directions
Yes dont follow sat navs as they take you down a 1 in 3 hill very tight in places. The directions in the handbook are acceptable. Which ever way you go it is down narrow country lanes so you have to go careful. The owner is pleasant and helpful but not intrusive. The site is small but well kept and quiet. All the pitches are are flat with there own electric. Water and disposal is only 50 metres away. The toilet and shower are near the house and the shower is good and hot.
Good site, beautiful location and views
We stayed here for two nights at the start of a coastal tour in the West Country. We are birders and one of the main reason for choosing it was its proximity to Slimbridge. As other reviewers note, it is important to use the directions given as some of the other roads nearby are tricky.
The pitches are well served and hard-standings. There is one men's and one women's toilet / washroom / shower room which are clean and well maintained. The views are great and the site is probably normally peaceful and quiet. There was and outdoor birthday party in the area, going on for most of one of the day's we were there which spoiled the tranquility but this was nothing to do with the site.
The owner was friendly but certainly not intrusive.
As we like to get to Slimbridge at least once a year we will almost certainly return.
Great when we found it!
Our fault we struggled to find it, you clearly need to follow the CC directions! Very helpful locals guided us in even though it was dark by then (Easter). Had paid up front so did not see owner; very helpful on phone and email. Overnight stay to break up long journey, very convenient for M5. Beautiful location, very well kept site. Fabulous uninterrupted views of rolling countryside. Would definitely visit again.

Summer break
Beautiful site and well kept. No-one available to welcome us on arrival which would have been nice and never saw the owners at all during our stay. Toilets and showers clean and tidy, good value for money.

Very Quiet
The driving instructions in the Caravan Club book were excellent. It is best to follow them because other routes would involve steep hills and awkward bends.
There are 5 hard standing pitches which are of varying sizes, two are on a slope. On arrival you are allowed to choose where you want to go. We think we had the best pitch because we had the use of a large grassed area with a tree in the middle which gave us plenty of shade when sitting out in the very hot (honest) weather. The field adjacent had ewes with their lambs in it.
The facilities, 2 showers (free) with 2 toilets are in an outhouse, but were very clean and adequate.
We paid £10 a night for 2 adults, car, caravan and electricity – excellent value. We would return.

Away from it all ...
This was our 3rd stay at Ham Farm. The site is immaculate with very well kept pitches. Not the biggest site but the caravans are staggered to enable you to have plenty of prvacy. Toilets and showers are VERY clean. Excellent place for dog walking - plenty of fields/footpaths. The owners are busy and very laid back about payment so make sure you take an envelope to pop it through the door :-) For £10 a night - bargain!

Peaceful retreat!
This is a lovely quiet setting with countryside views. Toilets and showers adequate. Well placed for walking but also close to train station in Stroud to get to Bath and other major towns.
