A very welcoming site
We were the only visitors to this delightful site on a cold November weekend, but were made to feel extremely welcome. Facilities were excellent and spotlessly clean (toilet/sink and separate shower). Lovely large field with plenty of walking available from the site, Durham itself is 10 mins by car or a 5 mile off-road walk (map required!). Reasonable pub with food (carvery) within easy walking distance (about 0.5 mile).
Will certainly be visiting again.
