Just got back from our first visit here. Had 7 lovely days. Emma regularly checked that we had everything we needed and supplied us with maps and lots of local information. She sanitise the taps at least twice a day and we had individual waste containers. We hope to visit again and very much recommend this CL.
Just come home from a week at this great site. We were welcomed by Emma and loaned some laminated sheets of walks from the site and general information.
Covid precautions were good, taps cleaned regularly etc. Each pitch had it's own dedicated waste bin and recycling box.
The drive as reported earlier is fine if you drive sensibly. There is a sign requesting 2mph.
Very handy for National Trust properties.
Emma sells new laid free range eggs, and the farm's organic milk. I just missed the Victoria plums, better luck next time!
Didn't notice the early morning milking!
Have just had 2 nights on this lovely little site. The owner was very nice and welcoming. We did a great walk from the site to Broad Camden, then on to Chipping Camden, worth the effort. On Sunday morning before we left Emma and her daughter, took time to bring there horses over to say hello to my wife, who is a horse mad women.a very nice touch.Sky one of the farm borders was also very welcoming.A great site nothing negative to say and for £12 a night worth every penny.
Reading the reviews below I was apprehensive about the entry road, which is a bit of a challenge, but I been up worse. Just use common-sense and go carefully. The other challenge is that there is some early noise from the milking shed early in the morning.
On the positive side there are 5 well space pitches with some hard standings. This was very useful in February as heavy due was a challenge for the front wheel drive. This site is well located with very good walking and the attractions of the Northern Cotswolds very well located. We love CL's and there aren't many round here.
Will we be back -certainly, This is a working farm and we respect that.
Although this CL is in a good area we were not impressed by the site itself.
Doubts began on the approach lane to the farm from the road.
It is a concrete drive but one side of it is breaking away, leaving very sharpe, jagged edges.
It would be very easy to tear a tyre or damage a wheel.
On site, well it was just untidy.
Three different piles of dog poo as well which obviously wasn’t a good find.
Not a CL we would return to.
Just returned from a six night stay at Greystone Farm, lovely little site. Friendly helpful owner in a good place for visiting Stow, Bourton on the water, Moreton-in-Marsh and Broadway. The two farm dogs Nellie and Fly were very friendly and Fly kept us entertained all week with her ball ( would have brought her home with us given half the chance)
Didn’t want to leave when it came to the end of the holiday and will definitely be paying a return visit soon.
Just returned from a weeks holiday. We had good weather, which helps. Lovely scenery. Plenty of places to visit. The site needs a bit of maintenance but hedges cannot be cut in the nesting season. We will return to this site as it is now a favorite.
last moment booking lucky they had a place for us.
easy to find, easy to park, cows on site lambs in next fields lovely...
its so quite at night you wont want to get up on a Sunday morning.
we will be back soon easy access to Cotswolds
If hiking is a must then this site is a great place to plan those long hikes. Footpaths lead you to Blockley, Snowshill, Broadway Tower & Broadway, Chipping Campden, Ebrington and Ilmington. Surely the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds. Stunning views and excellent coffee shops to be found. The hosts are welcoming. The site is clean and tidy. Oh, they start milking at 5.30 😊.
