Lovely site

A very easy visit. The booking was great (online), the sat nav brought us direct to the site, code for gate already given and site ready to pitch on. The site is very well kept, neat and tidy, very clean facilities and lots of sanitiser. Quiet location with some lovely walks direct from the site. Beautiful fields of comfrey, lovely walk along the Colne. The viaduct is very impressive. Nice local shop and the pub looks good but we did not go this time. Coin meter for electricity seemed very reasonable, less than ÂŁ1 a day.

Superb site

I have used this site on several occasions since July. The site is very clean, tidy and in a super location. The facilities are kept in a spotless condition. The owner Matt and Jenny are kind, considerate and generous people who went out of their way to make my time there happy. Their attention to detail was very impressive and they take much pride in their campsite. The pitches are a good size, with electric hook-ups and are in a spacious field. A great location for visits to some of the most beautiful villages in North Essex and Suffolk. Very highly recommended! Thank you

Winter Visitor

Good location and within walking distance of a lovely pub and a local shop.As winter visitors we felt the fees could have been a bit less than the £15 a night especially as you pay an additional cost for electricity and shower. There is no heating in the only shower/ toilet which is very basic; no rubbish bin, no stool to put belongings on( although there are hooks) and loo roll wasn’t replenished during our 2 night stay which led us to believe the facility hadn’t been checked daily. Having said that we would return , the site is very neat.

No need to worry

This site offers every thing you need. Excellent welcome from Jenny and Matt who keep the site in tip top condition shower and loos perfectly cleaned loo rolls topped up regularly, grass kept short with clippings collected, recycling bins emptied regularly and every pitch gets sun. The only thing that we had worries about was the electric meters. We definitely surprised how little we spent and averaged 68p per night that was with some chilly nights when we put on the electric blown air heating. Fabulous site definitely recommend staying.

Another CL gem

Greenacres farm CL is a stunning site, Matt and Jenny make you feel welcome from the start, they are at hand if you have a question or seek advice, On site is a games room and a well equipped information room with laundry facilities, all pitches have all day sun and offer pleasant views . A truly lovely site, obviously run by Club members that know what members want. We WILL definitely return again and again. Thanks Matt and Jenny, lovely Bob &Gill

Our first CL site experience.

We joined the club a few months back and this was our first cl visit. Our expectations were definitely exceeded! A perfect site in a perfect position. It was spotlessly clean, pitches were of good size and plenty of amenities were at hand if needed. 2 toilets were useful and there was also a shower and a separate washing up/laundry room as well. We only stayed the night as it was a try out in our new camper van but it was a good start and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Matt and Jenny, we will definitely be back.

greenacres farm

a great site liked the idea of metered electrics as we only have a small eriba caravan with a battery charger so very small amount of electricity is used .Having a shower is a big help I never noticed that the shed it was in was cold perhaps we are more hardy than other reviewers!! We stayed in early october.Jenny was very helpful and friendly . My daughter was so impressed I think she will try to arrange to book the whole site with her friends . Keep up the good work Jenny and Matt

Lovely site

This was our first stay on CL site and we wasn’t disappointed. Greenacres Farm is a lovely relaxing site with good facilities and good phone and tv signal (if it bothers you). The pitches were spacious, quite and the whole demeanour of the site was relaxed. Wardens were lovely, made us feel welcome and let us be. My children loved the site to run around and have fun. I will be returning.
