Ease of arrival/welcome

Not dog friendly

A pleasant site but not dog friendly as no where to walk dogs on site, and dogs not allowed on the grass. The site has many such rules and the owner states on arrival if you use to much electricity he will charge you extra for it !! I would not return

Hi Roy, Im sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us especially as you said nothing at the time of your stay when asked if everything had been ok.

I do allow dog walking in our horses field when they are not in it. Its only the caravan field that we don't allow dog walking on. This is to ensure cleanliness for other campers. Most of our customers have dogs so I have to mention this otherwise how could they know.

We operate a fair usage policy for electricity between October and March. We allow 16 amp hours per rolling day within the cost of your stay. Only then are you charged for additional use. I dont recall ever charging  anyone for additional use as when setting this up we took an average of customers useage.

Perhaps it was the way I put this to you, if so please accept my appologies.

We have stayed several times, always late in the year, and on average have used 12 units a day, therefore the 16 unit target is sufficient. Also caravaners have had dogs on site which were welcomed and well behaved.

Seems a good principle to me

And to me.

I just wonder how Martin gets around the Secondary Supply Agreement in charging for extra electricity usage as he can only charge the same as he pays? Sounds mighty complicated to me in order to remain within the law.🤔
