A perfect stopover as we travelled through the area.
Efficient and helpful information before arrival.
Very well laid out site and the drive through service point for water and waste makes life easy.
Very neat and well maintained.
We did not explore the village and area, so perhaps we will do that on our next visit.
Peaceful site , everything you need , plenty of space to pitch and easy access to local village. Good village pub handy local store. Highly recommended.
We are currently on Great Somerford CL. It’s a lovely peaceful site with only one other van here presently . The pitches run along one edge with plenty of space between each and the remainder of the Cl is open meadow which adds to the peace and tranquility . The village of Great Somerford is literally a minutes walk , straight to a well equipped shop with lovely pub The Volunteer opposite - what more could you want. We also walked the mile to Little Somerford which was pleasant and mostly had a curb route although a very small portion was on the country road , there was also a lovely very popular pub there too. Plenty of nice walks around and Malmsbury is only 10 mins drive away . Chemical toilet , grey waste and fresh water all easy to access , no electric which suited us. Annie the owner checked on us and was very friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely be back .
A new site which has been created with care and thought. Locked gate to both pedestrian and road access. We were so lucky to have it to ourselves and to be visited by a deer and her fawns who kept coming back and jumping around.
Annie was very welcoming and easy to contact, giving clear directions. The local pub, The Volunteer Inn is strolling distance and again was very welcoming to my family with great food.
We walked to Seagry Wood which are beautiful, on the way you go past all the allotments and residents gardens (all of which were amazingly well kept).
Looking forward to returning, will take our bikes next time as local country roads look well suited to exploring the area.
