Lucky Find

We chose this site purely on the basis that the location suited our purpose. It turned out to be a very pleasant stay and we wished we had allowed longer for our visit. Very spacious paddock surrounded by hedges. These cut out a view but would be a boon if it were windy. Plenty of choice on pitching, the whole area is pretty level and the hook ups are sensibly spaced. Everything was well looked after. First class welcome from the very helpful hosts who clearly make every effort to ensure visitors have a successful stay. We would recommend a visit to the British Ironworks on the A5 near Oswestry. We will be back.

What a find!

Although I was only passing through Llandrinio for one night I had to tear myself away from Grantley Court today. Had such a lovely relaxing stay. The site is perfect. Level, sheltered and small - only 5 pitches, which are well spaced out. The site facilities are immaculately clean and the shower room has a shower seat and support rail for less able guests. The free Wifi was much appreciated, as were the washing up facility and the information hut. Malcolm and Annette were very welcoming and helpful. They recommended a good dog walk along the Severn Way, just ten minutes on foot from the site. The site is well placed to visit Welshpool, Oswestry and Lake Vyrnwy. However for me the appeal was the lovely surroundings which I will definitely be back to explore. Thanks Annette and Malcolm, hope to see you again soon.

It's a cracker

We really loved this CL, the amount of space is unbelievable.

Various electric points scattered about the CL mean you have your own private pitching area, none of the 'all in a row' pitching here.

Lovely warm welcome from Annette and Malcolm who were very helpful with local information. Site handy for touring an area including Shrewsbury, Oswestry and of course Welshpool with the very beautiful Powys Castle (NT). Rodney's Pillar nearby is worth a visit, it's a good workout but worth it for the views at the top.

Shower and toilet are available for those who require them.

Excellent free wifi.

Don't hesitate just book this one.

tucked away gem of a site

You would never guess that this site is there from the road but it is a spacious very well kept field behind the house of the friendly and helpful owners. High hedges mean that we were well sheltered from any wind and the facilities were excellent, more like our own en-suite shower-room! There are loads of places to visit close by and the local pub is a five minute walk and they too couldn't be more welcoming. Next time we are in this area this will definitely be our campsite of choice. It was also refreshing that there was just one fair price for the pitch, no extras for dogs/awnings/electricity.

Well appointed site on the Welsh Borders

A well appointed site with excellent facilities kept clean and tidy. The site is a large field, well sheltered by a high hedge. The owners are very friendly and helpful and expereinced caravaners themselves. An excellent pub is only 10 mins walk away and a well stocked mini supermarket a further 5 mins. The site is excellently situated for touring Shropshire and the Welsh Borders and cannot be faulted. We highly recommend the site and will definitely be visiting it again.
