A peaceful site with a regular turnaround of visitors. Good toilet/shower and waste disposal. The owners were conspicuous by their abscence, and I wonder if I hadnt gone to the house to pay whether they would have known we were there. I think this is better than the owners continually on the prowl, and as long as everyone was behaving they left you well alone. Many places of interest were within reasonable distance and if you are NT or English Heritage there are a good few very interesting places to visit. At £12.50 all in, I think its very good value and a site not to be missed. We did buy from the butcher on site, but found him a bit on the expensive side.
Lovely site and plenty to do
Grange Farm is easily accessed from the A14. It is an attractive site with small lakes on either side of the entrance. The shower and toilet is well-appointed with hot air hand dryer and heater. The room also has a board with information about local facilities, bus service and recycling. There are plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling in the area and we recommend visits to Bury St Edmunds, Lavenham and the Museum of East Anglian Life at Stowmarket.
weekend visit
A lovely site, with good access, a level area for vans with nice short grass. There is a lovely shower and toilet room. The water tap, disposal points and the electric hookup boxes all easily found. There is a small butcher shop on site which had some lovely meat and few farmshop bits, it had a steady steam of visitors but was never noisy. A tarmac footpath runs alongside the site which gives access to the village within 10 mins walking. The site was so quiet and peaceful throughout our visit and we will definitely be visiting again.

Perhaps we arrived on the wrong day
I'm afraid we must have arrived on the day this lady owner forgot she is in the tourist trade, the welcoming we received was not what we would normally expect. Not having stayed before we were unaware of where anything was and we were no wiser after she rushed off, having said about ten words of welcome which included hello and goodbye. Routing about we did find where everything was and spent a very nice week in the area, the grass was kept cut the site was tidy, and the walking from the site good, if you like to fish theres a nice looking lake, but while we were there no one fished it. The towns around the site are interesting and well worth visiting. Just one more point I damaged the large roof light catch and visited Stowmarket Caravans to see if they could offer a replacement catch, they couldn't have been more more helpful. Ron in the parts department pulled all the stops out to order me the part which arrived Friday before the Bank Holiday and our departure on the Tuesday, not only that but he asked one of the fitters to walk me through the task of replacing it. I can't thank them enough, I just wish we had the same help locally. Would I stay on this site again perhaps as I now know where everything is, and the surrounding area is well worth visiting.
very pleased
This was our first CL one joining the CC. Had a three night stop to try out the folding camper. Found a very pleasant welcome, shower block very nice,
Love this place
Just had a lovely two night stay here, not our forts as we have been a few times b4 but our forts this year due to hubby's illness. Always made very welcome and absolutely love the site very peaceful and relaxing just what we needed.
Totally understand about them wanted week bookings over weekends ( who wouldn't) but worth ringing and enquiring because if they do have a free space at the weekend they will let you have it.
Love the new toilet and shower block beats an awful lot of them we have come across on cls before.
Keep up the good work and all being well with hubby we will be back next year for yet another lovely stay.
Ooh great butchers on site to and a very good fish and chips shop near by ( yum)
Thanks Alison and Paul Murray

Happy
Have to disagree with Gripper2. Just had a long weekend, (3 nights). Booked relatively late (week before). Lovely site, well organised and peaceful. Very happy, will return.
Is this the sign of things to come
Don't bother to try and book up for a weekend !Visited this CL over the last couple of years and was looking forward to booking up this year. When l enquired to book my pitch, l was told that now, they do not take booking for 2 night weekends during peak times, June to September. They want to keep it free for people who want to book up for a week ! Is this the way the club is heading ? What a shame for us weekenders, l guess it's all down to money.
Terrific CL
Just returned from our second stay this year and we would thoroughly recommend this site. Spacious, peaceful with easy walking access into the local village which has a good range of shops and pubs. Looking forward to our next visit.
