Well Placed Site

We booked this site about half an hour before arriving due to a misunderstanding on our original choice of site (advertised as fully serviced but not). We were given a very friendly welcome, a Sky box so we could receive a TV signal and lots of local information. Nothing was too much trouble for Mary and Berwyn and we had a very enjoyable two weeks. We thought the old vehicles added to the overall charm. The site is very well situated for enjoying this lovely part of West Wales. We enjoyed Tenby, Saundersfoot, Narberth for Tapas at Unicomida, Laugharne, Newgale Beach, Freshwater West for the crab rolls at Cafe Mor, and many more. The site is within walking distance of Wisemans Beach which has a lovely beach. Also a local bus service which we didn't use. The shower and lavatory facilities were very clean, although we always use the shower in our van, hence our requirement for serviced pitches. Would definitely recommend this site and would stay again if in the area.

Not for us

We stayed for two nights and were on the upper tier, it is very steep, the owners are lovely and very helpful however we didn’t like looking out onto the scrap cars, tractors and lots of rubble. Also at £22 per night the shower should have been included not an extra cost. Enjoyable walk to Wisemans bridge and Saundersfoot.

Relaxed And Friendly

Adult only site which is relaxing and very laid back. The owners are most friendly and welcoming with a warm and informative approach. The pitches are a good size and well serviced with electricity, water and waste water. The facilities are spotless and clean. There is a collection of farm vehicles which all come with a story and history to the farm. The location couldn't have suited us any better. Short walk to the beach and Wisemans Inn PH and then a steady, all on the flat, 20 minute walk into Saundersfoot. Loads of local places and beaches to visit. Make sure you follow the directions given by the owners. This place is a little gem and we will be visiting again. Thank you Mary and Berwyn and your family for making us feel so welcome.

Easy access to Wisemans Bridge

A site that is within easy walking distance to Wisemans Bridge, You can walk via the road which is more like a country lane or walk to the Heritage site, which we did, and go via the lovely footpath through the woods. The CL site is based at the back of the owners property. All pitches are hard standing with water and E/H/U. There is a higher and lower tier. The lower tier is near the toilets and showers and there are 2 pitches here. If you are on the lower tier you will find yourself surround by lots of farm machinery and other items which we thought was inappropriate. For a fee of £20.00 per night, we believe the use of the showers should have been included.

Great Site

Have stayed here twice in recent weeks. This small site is very peaceful and relaxing. The pitches are a good size and are fully serviced. The shower/toilet is excellent, very new and always clean, there is a small fee for the shower but I feel that this is entirely reasonable, especially as the pitch fees are such a good price. The owners are really friendly and helpful. There are lovely walks from the site, to local beaches and attractions, through woodland and there is a small field attached to the site for you to exercise your dog, if you have one, as well.
