Thumbs Up

We're new to motorhoming and this was our second adventure. First one was to a site with all facilities. This one made us use the services of our motorhome...we just relied on Giddyaunt's EHU, water, grey water provision and toilet. The beauty of this CL is that it only has three pitches and is a five minute walk from a pebbly beach on the Menai Straits suitable for dog walking. This beach links up with the Anglesey Coastal path. A drive away is Newborough with its stunning landscape, views and forest... We couldn't resist treating ourselves to a box of scones with cream and jam available at the site gate...the legend of Giddyaunts' tearoom lives on after Dawn and Brian retired from running it last year.. We have two Boxers and using the dog walking area for their needs couldn't have been easier.... Thumbs up all round..

Friendly and peaceful

We spent three nights at Giddyaunts last week. When we arrived we received a very friendly welcome from Dawn and Brian. There are only three pitches, all with plenty of space. If you are looking for a quiet relaxed site this is for you. We chose this site as we wanted to visit Newborough Warren and Forest which is only five minutes drive away, We had a really pleasant stay and will be back.

Brilliant place

Arrived here on the off chance of getting a one night stay, and was greated with a warm welcome by Brian and Dawn . Beautiful small peaceful, quiet site, well kept, all facilities as stated, and a perfect place for a stop over or a long stay. Will definitely book again here, strongly recommend this site. Thank you Brian and Dawn.

Wonderful CL

We have just returned from a great week at this gem of a CL. Beautiful location and pristine site. Brian and Dawn are the most friendly and welcoming hosts we have ever met. Thank you both and hope to see you again soon. Angela and Barry , Cheshire

5* site

This site ticks all the boxes! Quiet and peaceful. My husband and I loved it. A little gem. The owners deserve the success this site will be. Thank you for letting us stay.

Small but perfectly formed

A lovely, small site - which is part of its charm, but also perhaps a problem. I think it could be difficult access if all 3 pitches are occupied with caravans, there is not a lot of manoeuvring space. Having said that, it is a very new site and Brian and Dawn are very keen to help and learn (they have never been campers). Once the newly planted hedges have grown a bit it will look lovely and it is already a very peaceful site with plenty of bird life. There is plenty to do in the nearby area as well as on Anglesey as a whole. Newborough forest and the fantastic beaches are very close, with plenty of walking and cycling trails and miles of beautiful sand if the sun shines. A great, little adults only site.
