Having visited Grove Marina in Leighton buzzard who are part of the same group, we had good expectations. We were sadly very disappointed. They couldn’t be more different sites. Site was a stone chip car park. 3 pitches on hard standing and two on weeds/mud. Had to walk through a gate and car park to the facilities. One ladies and one gents toilet and one unisex shower. Toilets were clean but the shower was very muddy and horrible shower curtains. I showered first, then hubby went in and there was no hot water left. you share the facilities with all the boats in the marina so only one isn’t sufficient. Site is off a country lane that is used as a race track and then the other side is the busy A43. So not peaceful. Disappointed to not see one canal boat go by the whole time we were there, definitely not worth £22 a night and won’t be going back.
