This is a fantastic c.l., extremely well laid out with water and waste point to each pitch, even waste hose provided ready to connect, and a fresh water hose provided. Or you can fit your own Aquaroll style connector direct to the tap as needed. Bins and chemical disposal to far top corner of the site, with water to clean out container, all immaculately kept. Pitches gravel hardstanding, with timber board surrounds board to separate from the grass. similar to many main CAMC sites. In fact if it wasn't for the number of pitches you could be on a main site. Linda so friendly and helpful, chatting each time she came on site, and advising on local area. My wife and I visited Macduff Marine Aquarium, very interesting and informative, smaller scale than Sea Life centres but much less commercial! Special offer on at time of our visit April giving free access to another three Aberdeenshire attractions, we had time to visit Scottish Lighthouse centre at Fraserburgh(Kinnaird Head), again very interesting, including a guided tour to the top of the old lighthouse with a gentleman Michael - extremely knowledgeable. Another visit we made was to RSPB Troup Head reserve,around ten minutes drive, involves a ten or fifteen minute walk from reserve car park - well worthwhile - to the coastal cliffs where many sea birds nesting and mating at this time of year. Fantastic views along the coastal headlands. Do visit Pennan where the 'famous' telephone box sequence in film 'Local Hero' was done, keep putting the ten p's in the slot - oh happy memories of old style phones!!
