Good base for North Norfolk Coast
We spent five nights on this site. Very clean and nicely laid out with large pitches. Its well placed for walks, beaches and attractions. Traffic noise, mentioned by some, was not an issue, hardly noticed it . We went seal watching at Blackney Point, travelled on the North Norfolk Steam Railway and the Muckleburgh Military Collection next door to the site was very interesting. We thought Sheringham offered a lot and purchased a pre-packed crab and prawn platter from one of the fishmongers. It was delightful and very fresh. We found the site was better approached along the A1042 into Sheringham, then left at the roundabout by the station onto the A149 to Weybourne. Approaching from the the opposite direction takes you along some twisty, narrow roads with a number of tight pinch points, especially at Clay-next-the-sea. The site entrance turns back on itself so its worth a look at Google Streets before you arrive. No problem at all but you will need to use the joint entrance with the museum to loop round and turn in. Will definitely return to this site.
