We stayed here for 6 nights recently. The site is well kept, with easy access to water, electric and drainage.
The toilet and shower facilities are great - clean, 2 showers and 4 toilets. A wonderful bonus on a CL.
There is a road running alongside, but we did not find the traffic intrusive.
The site also backs onto a sport ground, but again we did not hear any intrusive noise.
Thank you, we hope to return.
Lovely CL site
Lovely site which we have visited in our caravan 4 times. Stayed for 10 nights in September. Heather and Denis are very welcoming and informative. Very spacious, private and well maintained fully serviced pitches. Excellent facilities. Toilets and showers are spotless. We love taking our bikes to this site as it is right on the edge of the Ringwood Forest, perfect for walking or cycling. Heather showed us around the two shepherds huts and The Dairy cottage which are beautifully finished. Hesitant to leave too good a review as we might have problems booking in the future. Can't fault it and will be back soon! Kerry & Sue

Perfect little site
Immaculate little site, big flat fully serviced pitches, although you will need a long water pipe on some pitches. Grass mowed regular while we were there.very modern facilities blocks with four toilets and two showers. Good TV signal but Wifi was only really usable on a seat next to the owners bungalow.
Easy access and nicely located for the New Forrest or Beaches.
Beyond the call
I cannot improve on the reviews already published. However when I fell sick with a bad stomach infection, Mr. & Mrs Castle did everything they could to assist my wife & I. I was too sick to tow and my wife is not able to tow due to her post polio condition. They stored our van and even offered to move it to our next site near Bournemouth in July. They enabled us to stay on for an extra 3 nights, when I had recovered enough to stand the journey back to Cornwall. Thank you so very much!

Lovely site just know of a couple of things when booking
We stayed for the late May Bank Holiday in 2021. There are many positives and we had a lovely time. The site is lovely, easy to get to, the pitches are large and are pretty of level (we needed blocks on the front to get it level). The grass is beautifully cut. The toilet block is very good, showers looked lovely (not used as we used our van). Good recycling. The pitches are fully serviced, water pressure is strong so check you connections as when we arrived water was pouring from one of the neighbour's hoseswhich had blown of he connection. Some pitches needed 20 m plus of water hose, even mine next to the tap station needed a full 10m. I assume the site loan extra hose but worth asking when booking. The other thing to be aware of is the potential for noise. There is some road noise, not so bad at weekends but it was pretty busy on the Friday. That did not bother us but good to know. The site is next to the recreation ground so we got noise one night from kids handing round, drinking and singing until nearly midnight and then were woken on Sunday morning to a kids football match with the accompanying shouting and coaching from the sidelinesjust the other side of the hedge from us. Depending on the time of year you may get this. It did not ruin the holiday and the evening noise may have just been post lockdown letting their hair down.
I want to be balanced as the cl is lovely and we will probably give it another go as there are lovely walks along the river avon to Fordingbridge (to the George pub on the river which is great) and through the Ringwood forest. No other reviews have mentioned the AM sport so perhaps in it is not a regular thing?
Lovely Little Site
Great site with spacious pitches, separated with hedging and well maintained grounds. It was lovely to see the deer in the opposite field on most days.
A bonus to have all the facilities available, even a washing machine.
Easy walk to the local Coop and Ringwood Forest and not too far from loads of towns, villages, beaches for exploring further.
Friendly and helpful owners. Can highly recommend a stay here.
Superb!
Well spaced pitches with full facilities. Beautifully maintained grounds. Friendly, helpful owners.
Good walking country nearby, dog walk on site, many pubs/restaurants within short driving distance and large open playing field nextdoor.
This is a site to return to as it has everything needed for a wonderful holiday.
Thank you!

Fab CL, 'nuff said
Foxhill Farm is a wonderful site that we will be visiting again and again. We booked because we wanted a peaceful weekend on a pleasant site within easy reach of local towns, villages and other places of interest. We had that in buckets, which all began with a warm and welcoming greeting from Mr & Mrs Castle. Fully serviced hardstanding pitches are well thought out, spacious and easy to manoeuvre your outfit on and off. We felt so comfortable that we only left the site for a takeaway fish supper on the first night, then settled in and relaxed all weekend. It was a real wrench to leave. Short version is; fabulous CL that you will not regret pitching up at.
Road trip 2019
Lovely site.
Clean facilities.
Flat pitches
Water and grey waste direct to each pitch. Mr & Mrs Castle loaned our friends a hose as theirs was too short.
Sunny spacious pitches that are all private and discreet.
Site perfect for visiting the new forest; beaches; castles and Sailsbury and it's wonderful cathedral.
Parked just up from Bournemouth at Durley Chine Beach to swim it was less busy and loos to change in. It's not dog friendly in the summer and it's a zig zag concrete slope down and a few steps.
There are several dog friendly beaches that our pals used and easy to look up.
Calshot Castle is small but full of world war one and two history.
There is a vellodrome; dry ski slope & lots of climbing walls all in one of the aircraft hangers here. The beach has paddle boards; kayaks and windsurfing to hire. It's a stoney beach but the view of Portsmouth and the isle of white is stunning. Especially from the castle.
Rhinefield ornamental drive is a road that cuts through the forest. You can park for free here and walk on the gravel flat footpaths through the forest. To see the tall trees and imagine the world history that they would share if they could talk.
When we asked at the caravan site where's the nearest pub. We was told the Churchill.
Not so the sports and cricket/tennis club next door was approx 150 yards on the right out the gate. A warm welcome even when a private function was on. Cheeper bear in the area by at least a pond a pint.
2 pints of cider £6.40 as opposed to £9.90 at the fighting cocks which is worth a visit to see the donkeys.
You can swim in the river at Fordingbridge bridge the fish are interesting too.
Would we stay again yes definitely there is so much more to see.
One last thing the washing machine and dryer take old pond coins so remember to ask Mr & Mrs Castle to change you're pounds before you load the machine.
Lovely site
good alround site
Having spent a week here in September, found the site ideally place to walk in the New & Ringwood forrests. The local town was very interesting and the food in the Ship inn was good, with plenty of choice.
I have marked the site down on two counts , one being the amount of traffic using the road that runs along the side of the site and two there are no views from the site which is surrounded by hedges.
Each pitch is fully serviced, but the drinking water taps are situated in the middle of three pitches so take extra hose.
Dog walking on site is good.
Toilets and Showers were kept very clean .
The most helpful person was Ted plot 4 , a mind of information, thanks for your help.
We are looking forward to returning next year .
all in all a site I would recommend.
