We have just stayed here for 7 nights. Easy to find with the directions sent. Upon arrival an information sheet would be good detailing local shops and opening hours, pubs, good places to eat and their telephone numbers. Doctors for emergencies and local vets. Pitch was ok but small and muddy. No TV reception but we didn’t mind and did have 3G. A shower cost £1. Tokens obtained from reception. The water wasn’t hot and quite chilly at times. A sign states ‘The facilities are only as clean as the last person left them’. Fair enough but please provide a mop to clear excess water and mud brought in on shoes. Without providing the tools how can it be clean? To my knowledge nobody cleaned the shower the whole time we were there. The toilet. Both the shower and toilet are housed in great little huts. Use a torch at night as finding the steps can be difficult. Again the toilet wasn’t cleaned and the bin not emptied the whole week we were there. We didn’t use the hot tub. The power tripped 4 times on different days and I did try and call reception but nobody ever picked up. The power did return within half an hour but nobody warned us this might happen or communicated with us. Lovely and peaceful.
