Enjoyed a week on this site, the toilet/shower facilities are first class. The field is well drained and level. There are a couple of hard standing pitches. The site is a short distance from the main road and just off a quiet country lane. Its a great location with many interesting towns and villages nearby. We had some great walks and cycle rides out from the site and I would advise anyone visiting to invest in an OS map to make the best of the many by ways and foot paths in the area. The Lion Pub is 5 minutes walk away and the Eels Foot pub 5 minutes down a quiet lane on your bike. Both are really good and serve great food. Visit the Eels Foot on a thursday night for the folk music. Tesco and Waitrose are only four miles away. Great site with loads to see and do nearby I don't think you will be disappointed.
