Lazy days in Shropshire

Some care needed to enter through gate - depending on the size of your unit. The lazy above refers to the fact that you have your own water tap so just attach your hose and away you go - the same would go for waste if you have a hose because the grey waste can go into the surrounding hedgerows. Beautifully sheltered by trees and well laid out site with hardstandings and a central lawn area. Lane to the rear of the site is a superb dog walk - the view from the top of the hill is worth the walk, views across the old quarry & Shropshire hills. Mr & Mrs Ball were very helpful and welcoming but not at all intrusive. We ate at the Talbot Inn which was very good value for money - typical pub grub and not gourmet dining. The butchers is to die for and the bakery great too. Lovely to be somewhere with a good selection of shops nearby with everything you need for your holiday and of course the attractions surrounding Much Wenlock are brilliant too and all worth visiting. Our test of the CL, would we return the answer would be yes.

Response from the Club:

Thank you for your review and we’re glad you enjoyed staying with us and will look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

We have made changes to the entrance which will now mean that arriving will be a lot easier. The first gate post has been removed so there is no longer any need for a tight turn into the site.
