We were lucky enough to have the CL to ourselves for a weekend break in February. A lovely warm welcome with walking maps and fresh eggs supplied within half an hour of arrival. This is a perfect little CL which is ideal for all year round use due to being all hard standing pitches. What a bonus having a water tap on each pitch and a grey waste between each two pitches. Makes the chores much easier. We walked form the site along footpaths into Much Wenlock and just had to visit the much praised butcher. After a coffee we walked back along the Shropshire Way to take in the views along the edge and then a short walk back along the road to the CL. Our Sunday morning walk took us in the other direction from the site over the fields for views across to the Clee Hills. a perfect weekend getaway and definitely a site to return to another time.
