This is a beautiful site, set among gentle hills, trees and fields. The set up is great, each pitch having hardstanding and its own tap. It was so quiet overnight, we slept very well. We heard owls in the evening and the dawn chorus is quite something. Walking on site is a treat as are the surrounding area and lochs. The link with Robert the Bruce is fascinating. We met Malcolm and Lynne, who came down to check all was ok. They have certainly got everything right as far as we are concerned. We will definitely be back.
We got a Lovely welcome at the gate, by the cheery and very friendly owner's Malcolm and Lynne.
We were there first customers on site and received a complementary bottle of champagne, the site is situated on the edge of a ex Xmas tree wood Great for walking the dog.., & surrounded with fields with sheep a lambs beautiful..so keep them on leads
we hope to visit again soon to see a little more of the surrounding area
As we were passing through to the Scotlands Highlands from Derbyshire
So a great nights sleep.. all in all a great half way stop .
