Our first visit to this 5CL and not our last we made another booking whilst we were there ! Wendy runs the site with professionalism but yet a personal touch, she met us at the gate and directed us to our very spacious hardstanding pitch. From that point we were on our own but Wendy was always there should we need anything. Wooden lodge houses a toilet, sink and shower, has a radiator inside so is always warm on these cold days, a seperate toilet should the shower be in use. Lots of information about the surrounding area, home made jams and chutney, fresh eggs also available. Park and Ride at McArthur Glen just up the road makes getting into York by bus a breeze £2.40 return,ideal for us as we were visiting the Christmas Market. This is a working farm with animals in the surrounding fields,very peaceful CL just what we like,even when its full you are not overlooking another pitch as they are well spaced apart. Well Done Wendy keep up the standards that have earned you the well deserved awards over the years. Thank You we will be back really soon.
