Wow!

Wow what a view from all the pitches on this site. A beautifully maintained quiet site, well laid out and level and a board telling you which pitch on arrival. The owners were very helpful with a welcome pack on arrival.  There is a lot to do in this area Conwy, Llandundno, Snowdonia are all on your doorstep.  We would highly recommend this site, definitely one to visit.

Welsh Heaven

This CL has just jumped to the top of our personal leader board. I am sure that like me one just passes by Colwyn Bay on the rush further south. Well, that's fine with me as I don't want everyone to know that it's superb. Only 4 vans on site, each having it's own beautiful vista. Go into the town of Colwyn Bay. An attractive precinct and lots of small businesses still flourishing. The beach, great, clean, and you can walk/cycle for miles. Oh, not tatty or looking run down, free parking on the prom. Last but not least by any means....the owners Noel & Liz. so very very lovely.

Peace and tranquility

Beautifully kept site with spacious pitches, spectacular views over Snowdonia and Conway valley and bay. High up in hills, peaceful and very well kept site. Attentive owners, with very useful and professional welcome pack. Access via hilly roads with some narrow section but had no problems both arriving or leaving. Will certainly return here again.

Great views

This is a lovely site with great views over Snowdonia. The owners are helpful and friendly. Large pitches and very well cared for site. We have been twice but the approach can be quite difficult - narrow and steep in places, so care is needed. Good site for exploring North Wales.

Lovely peaceful site with excellent views

We've just returned from a 6 night stay at this immaculately kept tranquil CL with lovely mountain and sea views. The 4 firm, flat grass pitches are very generous in size. The owners directions from the A55 are spot on (DON'T use Satnav). Although some parts of the approach roads are quite narrow, we didn't encounter any problems at all. We chose this site for it's ideal location to places we wanted to visit which included Snowdon, Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Bodnant Gardens and lots of other National Trust & HHA properties. The weather was super for us and we ran out of time to do all the things we wanted. We will definitely be back again.

We found the extra mile

This is a delightful site overlooking the Colwyn Estuary and Llandudno. Just far enough to gain the peace and tranquility while still being in reach of all the joys of the Snowdonia National Park. On our last visit (Easter 2013) our visit was preceded by unseasonal snowfall. Noel rang me as soon as it happened ( a few days before we were due to arrive) and advised access and facilities were uncertain and suggested I might prefer to find a different location. When we said we would prefer to try and make it to them he kept me updated every evening. On arrival the ware supply to the site was still frozen solid. Noel and Liz were marvellous, filling our water butts from their own house taps and bring the butts down to us. You pitch is always personally identified on arrival and lots of local information provided. The views are spectacular. A personal favourite of ours.

An absolute Gem

As a regular CL visitor we booked this site as a center point for North Wales. We were not disappointed. This site is very peaceful with stunning views, an absolute gem. It is the first CL we have ever visited where you get a personal welcome. Mr Payne the host greeted us with lots of info re the surrounding areas and things to do. Mr Payne obviously takes a great deal of pride in his site and it shows. We will be back again.
