Absolute gem.
What an absolute gem of a CL. To me, this is everything a CL should be. However not everyone may see it that way, but we take things as they come toward us. We stayed for six nights in June 24. Weather wasn't brilliant and we learnt that the site was a tad exposed on top of the hill with nothing but the Irish Sea behind us, so if you have issues with a bit of draught, maybe not for you. For me that is the only thing that I could be negative about, but it is what it is. However what that height does, is give you one of the best views in North Wales. A panoramic view from Snowdon to the left to Harlech and Shell Island to the right. You can sit on a Saturday afternoon and watch the yacht races from the yacht club to Pwllheli with an almost uninterrupted view. Its a 10min walk to Abersoch Beach, which is only dog friendly on the southern end, but its 15mins to the Warren beach which is completely dog friendly. Most places in the village, which is again, only 10mins walk away, are dog friendly. Site facilities are more than adequate and appear to have been recently updated with a great little shower cabin and everything seems to be really well maintained without being over the top or intrusive. This is now our Abersoch go to site. Just hope it doesn't become too popular
