What a lovely site for a quiet rural retreat

Our first visit to this site but it won't be the last. This is a lovely peaceful site on the edge of the Peak District National Park. The pitches overlook some stunning countryside.Pitches have electric hook up and there is water, grey waste and chemical disposal within short walking distance from your hardstanding pitch.Wynford and Jane are lovely hosts and are on hand for local directions and any other advice. No need to bring eggs as they sell free range on site.Access is down a narrow lane which is approx half a mile long. However plenty of room to pass other vehicles on the rare chance you meet one.The site access is tight but we had no problems.Take it slow and wide and your in.There is a bit of an incline down to the pitches but again no real problems.I think we have found a new favourite weekend CL site and only an hour from home.I would recommend this site if you are looking for a quiet rural site.Even managed to catch site of a badger running around.
