Stayed just one night at this lovely, well kept CL. We booked at short notice and the owners couldn’t have been more helpful, even ringing us to confirm. The on-site honesty shop is a nice touch. It’s a 20 minute walk to the Royal Oak in Gretton, which is a lovely village pub with good food and a fab beer garden. The lake on the farm itself is a nice walk, with Red Kites circling overhead. There are views of the steam trains as they pass close to the site. We will definitely come back to explore more of the outstanding Cotswold surroundings. Well worth a visit.
