The site is easy to find, tranquil and beautiful views. I think the owner let's this site down. No welcome as the owner doesn't live on site. Early evening a Land Rover turned up for payment. No welcome, wasn't told where anything was. All the pitches are very large and hardstanding with electric hook up. The base however was tiny, tiny pieces of slate which walked into the caravan, a right mess it made, the water tap was such a low pressure it must have taken at least 10 minutes to fill. The dustbins were very inadequate. There were just two domestic size bins for the whole of the 5 vans and weren't emptied during our stay. One bin was full of maggots yuk!!! My guess is that the cottages might also be using the same bins, I don't know. They were absolutely rammed to the top. It struck me the owners did what they thought was necessary and no more.. I cannot fault the site but the water tap and the waste bins were diabolical. I felt let down by the owner, who visited the site most evenings but never got out of the car. Bad manners indeed.
