Stayed for a week in July. It had been very wet the week before we came and this site was waterlogged which only got worse as the week went on. The only time I've had to put wellies on to go into the awning. The whole field was squelching with large puddles. Basically, no drainage. When I asked the owner if there was anything extra we could put down in the awning, he was more worried about our current breathable mats ruining his grass. He also commented that the cars were churning the grass up! Most of the vans by the end of the week were parking right up to the entrance. A nice dog walk but again very muddy. The only other dog side was that their dog was allowed to roam the site unattended and we had it pushing it's way into the awning on several occasions (my dogs weren't impressed). We stayed over night once before a couple of years back in mid September and it was the same. Wouldn't return there or recommend it to anyone else, not unless we're having a drought summer!
