We arrived the day after we planned due to a terrible weather forecast - the travel instructions given are very good - and easily found our pitch due to the board with our names on. Good sized pitch although the grass surrounding it was extremely wet - obviously due to the awful weather we've been having this summer.
Lots of info about the beaches and places to eat which was helpful and the site was situated where it is relatively easy to travel to these places of interest.
Just a couple of things stopped this being a 5 star review.
1) The toilets are not exclusive use as stated. There is a very popular farm shop on site so on the days it is open there is a steady stream of visitors using the toilets. This also could sometimes lead to a feeling of not wanting to leave chairs etc on show as lots of people using the toilets popped their heads around to look at the site.
2) Fabulous dog walk - our dogs loved it - but again not exclusive use and although not lots of visitors, there were people who I presume were from the local community walking through the site with their dogs to use the field.
Just perfect!
A real gem of a CL.
Peaceful, good access, great services on the pitch.
We had a little problem with a couple of bed brackets, Adam let us use his vice to sort them out. Natalie was full of recommendations & places to see.
The Gower is just lovely for cycling & walking, good walks from the site. There are many CL’s on the peninsular but many would be a nightmare to access due to the lanes on swing into gateways….this one is so easy, directions given ahead of time were spot on & access to the pitches are great too.
We hope to visit again soon.
Perfect
An absolute gem. The site is very well maintained and pitches are lovely and big. The on site dog field is wonderful, it is completely safe so lots of lovely off lead running. The washrooms are spotless. And the farm shop selling bacon rolls, veg and nice bits and bobs is fantastic. And to top it all off the welcome warm too. We’ll definitely be back.

Best CL on the Gower
Having read previous reviews and looking for a pre-Easter break, we booked 3 nights on Eastern Farm CL just as the season started on 31 Mar 23. The owners, Alex and Natalie, gave us clear route directions off the M4 and along the coast road and it was an easy tow from home to Oldwalls to set up despite the poor weather. The CL is so well designed and equipped that despite my dodgy reversing (sadly, no motor-mover as yet), we were soon all connected on what was in effect a serviced pitch. Woofers Walk field made exercising our Border Terrier easy and safe and the welcome addition of fields of new born lambs made for some heart warming sights and sounds.
We are no strangers to the Gower but had not stayed on the Oldwalls side before so it was fun exploring the area, including Weobley Castle with spectacular views over the expansive Loughor Estuary. We took a road trip down memory lane back through Llangennith to Rhossili Bay on Friday evening and the stormy seas and high wind made for a very invigorating but shorter than usual walk. The next few days were more settled and we revisited Port Eynon for Fish & Chips on Saturday and took up Natalie's recommendation to visit the Welcome to Town pub in Llanrhidian for Sunday Lunch. An easy tow home on Monday rounded up a delightful long weekend.
We cannot praise Eastern Farm enough and rate it as the best CL we have stayed on in South Wales. Alex and Natalie were the perfect hosts and everything was to the highest standards - including the enterprising Farm Shop with Mario's Ice Cream! No hesitation in recommending them to anyone who wants to visit the Gower - you won't be disappointed!
A brilliant site!
We stayed here with friends in late September and had a wonderful 4 night break! Natalie & Alex provided a great, friendly welcome and it was interesting to hear their plans for the site in future. Eastlands Farm is easy to find (very accurate directions) and well placed to explore The Gower. The serviced pitches were fantastic with the EHU, mains water and grey waste readily available on each pitch. The hard standings were limited in space when compared to the overall size of the CL and I know Natalie and Alex are looking to extend these for next season which will be a real plus. There is a brilliant Dog Walk available too which our friends made use of with their GSD. We walked up to Arthur's Seat from the CL using a footpath accessible just up the road from the site. The views from the top of the hill are amazing despite the changeable weather we experienced! Unfortunately the Farm Shop was undergoing renovations when we visited so we cannot comment on this but from the outside it looked to be a lovely facility. We will definitely return when visiting the area in future.
Really nice friendly little CL
We stayed here for a weekend during October , arrival and set up was easy, owner was friendly, site was clean and tidy with toilets cleaned daily. We walked up to Arthur’s Stone at the back of the site and went to Rhossili beach and Port Eynon plus Oxwich beach …nothings very far away on the Gower !
Enjoyed our stay and will look to return ! Thank you to the owners for a lovely weekend x
Short break before end of 2022 Season
With the previous reviews and the fact I am just over an hour away, I was keen to have a break here before Natalie & Alex close for this, their first season. Just got back from 4 nights this past week.
Disappointments…..only the weather! Out of 4 days I only had one dry day but did that spoil my stay….not at all.
It was a delight meeting Natalie, so friendly and keen to continually improve the site from their experiences this year. Finding the site using their directions is easy and straightforward and as you turn into Eastern Farm, everything opens up in front of you as you head towards your designated pitch and the surrounding glorious views.
Attention to detail was evident with the cleanliness of the toilet facilities (liked the one sign in the mens which had a nod to that great Christmas film - Home Alone), outdoor wash up, multiple recycling bins and chemical toilet disposal point, all discreetly “hidden” behind a large boundary hedge - very thoughtful. So convenient to have EHU, mains water and grey waste on every hardstanding pitch (which will be getting larger next year 😉).
A few standouts which will be drawing me back to this CL next year (in addition to the above), is the absolutely fantastic dog exercise field adjoining the site. Totally secure and something my Bearded Collies really, really enjoyed. Two lovely couples who were already on site when I arrived - one of the joys of a CL is undoubtedly your other guests and the chance to spend time chatting to them. Finally, the Farm Shop, at the front of the site, run by Kim (another lovely, friendly person). The homemade cakes…..well….”naughty but very nice”.
Lovely people, lovely site and a lovely area - what’s stopping you? Looking forward to a few 2023 visits already.
Perfect
Stayed here for a week in early July 2022 and absolutely loved it. Great location for exploring the Gower without having to navigate all the narrow roads with your caravan. I can’t really add much to all the other positive reviews other than to say they are all accurate and well deserved. Good luck Natalie and Alex and thank you for a great holiday.

What a gem of a site
We only stayed here for a weekend as we are local to the area and just wanted a quick getaway with friends. We loved this Cl and will definitely be back although I have a feeling its going to be hard to get a pitch as more people find out about it. My first email contact with Natalie, I received a very quick reply and the booking was easy to make. When we arrived we found a welcome board with our pitch marked on it, so we set up and Natalie came along later to greet us and tell us about the local area, telling us about access to local walks that we were not aware of. The pitches are a generous size and with water tap and drain on each pitch. The toilets were lovely and clean. The site has stunning views and we were lucky to have lovely weather all weekend. We used the farm shop on site and Kim was lovely too, this is a fantastic family run business and we will definitely be back.
Ssshhh don’t tell everyone!
We can only reiterate whatever everyone else is saying… what a gem. We spent a week in June and fortunately we’re blessed with great weather. Access is fine and the welcome is wonderful from Natalie, sometimes including Ava…her lovely little girl. The views are amazing in all directions. Small shop/cafe on site has limited produce but essentials and some nice treats too. All the family were happy to chat and Natalie was a font of info. The surrounding areas of the Gower are stunning. Roads to many of the beauty spots are challenging as they are very narrow but well worth it. Rhossili and Whiteford were our favs. Walks from the site up to Arthur’s Stone. Shame local pub had closed, it was only just down the road but hopefully may open in the near future. Will definitely return and wish Natalie and all the family continued success…begrudgingly cos we want it all to ourselves lol
