Ease of arrival/welcome

A Gem

We spent four nights at this site. The site is extremely well organised with all pitches being hard standing and well laid out water and waste sites and even an information hut. On our arrival we were met and welcomed by the owner. There is a lovely walk that is clearly marked around the farm and you are able to see sheep, pigs and chickens and spot buzzards. There are great places to visit near by and Edinburgh is just a short train or bus journey away. If you visit in August do go to North Berwick to take a boat trip to Bass Rock to see the largest colony of gannets in the world - a bit smelly but an amazing sight and experience. There is a flight museum close by and lots of historical sites and buildings to visit. Yes the road is a bit noisy but it honestly didn't bother us.
