Easy site to access, great welcome from Stuart and Hamish 🐶. Good size pitches, spotlessly clean shower block. Lots to do in the area. Good dog walks, we will definitely return.
Beautiful setting on the loch with amazing views all around. Very clean toilets and showers, kept to a very high standard. Grass mown regularly and hardstanding for the van but you will need steel pegs for the awning. We'd have preferred to put the awning on glass but this was not available. We broke the hammer putting the pegs in! Sadly the motorbikes speeding noisly past at frequent intervals spoilt this otherwise relaxing CL.
Stayed for one night on our way further north, the site is easy to find and well placed for travelling north. The warden is very friendly and helpful and took time to show us where all the facilities are. Nice views, however our stay was spoilt by the road traffic noise. The site is adjacent to the A86 and most of the pitches are along side the road, unfortunately motorbikes use the road as a race track ruining the tranquility of the site. It is also worth noting that the site has 10 pitches not the usual 5 for a CL.
Easy access to this great site and a warm welcome when we arrived. Toilet and shower were immaculate, as was the rest of the site. Nice views over the loch and to the surrounding mountains. Quiet site even though there was plenty of activity with the boats and the fish farm, always something to watch. I would highly recommend this site.
We really enjoyed the night we spent here in our motor home on this lovely, well-kept site. We received a very warm welcome from Stuart. The pitches are well-spaced apart, with a beautiful area of grass in the middle. The toilet facilities were immaculate. We found a peaceful walk along a cycle track across the road, with stunning elevated views over the loch. I really recommend this site!
Stuart and Robert who run this CL along with the boat rentals do an outstanding job. The site is spotless, the toilet block is immaculate and a credit to the Guys keeping it updated and clean.
We stayed on the site to watch the Lochearnhead Highland Games. Both are highly recommended. We had not been to a games before and found it to be very well organised and great fun.
The site has really good sized pitches overlooking a lovely green are right next to the Loch. Boats are available to hire from the fish farm to go on the lake for fishing or just to enjoy the views.
There are easy drives out to some great locations well worth exploring. We stayed 3 nights and there was plenty to do. If you are walking or cycling there are great opportunities.
We at out at Achray House in St Fillans about 4 miles down the road. A lovely small hotel with a great resturant and a good ambiance.
Drummond Trout Farm is on the north shore of Loch Earn with views onto the water. A warm welcome on arrival and a choice of pitches. Toilet block and showers were clean and warm and ample for the size of site. As there was a strong wind blowing, midges were not a problem but we did choose a pitch away from the water. Sadly it was too rough to launch onto the loch from site but maybe another time. Will definitely be back in the future.
