What a wonderful view of crofts, lochs and valley from this CL site. The site is pretty small, but very secluded though we had no trouble finding it along a single track road with passing places.. Russ the owner who lives next to the site was helpful on arrival and left us to our own devices. Lovely place to be based, we stayed for twelve nights while hubby and daughter did some of the North Coast 500, I stayed and shopped in Tain, and Dornoch and visited Dunrobin Castle just up the coast. We loved the seaside fishing village of Portmaholmack about 15 miles away, it made us want to move in to the village! We visited the Falls of Shin and saw salmon leaping and visited Lairg ..can recommend the Pier Cafe. Definitely lots to do and see, we even fitting in a trip to Orkney catching the ferry/coach at John o'Groats for the day. Can recommend
