This working croft epitomises what CL’s are all about. Sadly it’s one of the few left. Remote yet accessible, charming yet rustic, peaceful yet far from isolated. We travelled here for Hogmanay. Called owner prior to arriving and was given friendly information to guide us in. On arrival you have all that you need from a CL site, water, power, access to chemical disposal. The views are absolutely incredible and the whole area has plenty to do, stunning walks for all levels nearby via woodland at Loch Migdale. Owners incredibly friendly and helpful even invited us into their home for mignight bells. I am somewhat staggered and confused by an earlier review of this site and having spoken to the owner on departure I saw how upset she was by this comment. What do people honestly expect. It’s a working Croft where the owners have compromised their living space to allow members a great value place to park and enjoy part of their home. We departed arms full with the kind gift of eggs and cake. We will most certainly be back over the years!!! Yes there are working collies, yes the chemical disposal is accessed via a lid to a modern septic tank it’s one of the best value CL’s out there with some charging stupid prices. Support CL’s like this and enjoy them !
