Doesn't come much better!
Friendly guy gave great directions, and I was there in no time at all, despite my Sat Nav being very silly as we came through Bonar Bridge.
If there's snow you are really going to struggle to get to this place, otherwise it's a piece of cake.
Once there it's open the gate, pick one of the 5 graveled pitches, shut the gate, and take 5 to drink in the amazing views. They are truly superb. Despite 5-6 cockerels living next door the peace was a good as I've ever had, and no silly cockerel noises at 5am! You can also buy the eggs from the henhouse stil warm form being laid. I got loads of work done and had some of the best sleeps I've had in ages.
A mile or so into Bonar Bridge itself, and loads of walks around, and everyone you meet is friendly. I relaxed here for 4 nights at £8 a night and it's now my permanent stopover when taking this route to the north.
Fabulous little location, there's few to beat it.
