We have stayed at quite a few CC sites over the last few years but this was the first time we had tried a CL.  It certainly won't be the last as we had a wonderful two weeks at this site.  It was also our first time in this area and we were amazed at all the wonderful scenery and places to visit.  There are footpaths direct from the site and we had some really great walks.  The nearby village of Waddington is very pretty and has three very good pubs which all serve food.  Also great cafes at nearby Whalley.  Beautiful drives through Forest of Bowland and even Skipton is not too far away.  The site has a shower and toilet both of which were kept very clean.  Each pitch has it's own water supply and drain so this does make life a lot easier.  Ann was there to welcome us and show us our pitch and always seemed to be around if you needed anything.  Hope I haven't made this sound so good that we can't get booked next time we want to visit.
