Lovely site in a stunning area

Visited this site for four nights at Easter and were lucky to have some very fine weather and see the local area at it's best. The site is very well maintained and the friendly and helpful owner Ann is always on hand and passes on useful information about the local area and activities, of which there are many. We also suspect that Ann was behind the surprise "Easter Bunny" gifts left outside all the visitors caravans on the Sunday morning, but she of course denied it! A lovely gesture, thanks! We enjoyed a fine circular walk along the River Ribble and cycled in the Gisburn Forrest around one of the fabulous purpose built tracks (different levels for all ages and capabilities). We also had a great meal just down the road at the 3 Millstones in West Bradford village, heartily recommended. Some of the surrounding villages have to be amongst the prettiest in England and all have at least one hostelry serving fine ales and excellent food. Clitheroe is well worth a visit, especially on market day, when the superb Ribble Valley and Bowland local produce is on offer. This is starting to sound like an advertisement, so I'll sign off, but we will definitely be visiting again. See you soon!
