We had 5 nights here in early June 2021 and would echo pretty much every positive comment in other reviews. The views of Pendle Hill (weather permitting) are superb; the site is spacious and neat, with water and electric hookup at each pitch. Facilities are simple but clean. There are good walks directly from the site, up onto the nearby fells for even better views north and into the Yorkshire Dales. The central Forest of Bowland fells are easily accessible within about 20mins drive, as is e-bike hire at Dunsop Bridge. Lots of attractive villages in the nearby river valleys, with what looked to be a number of open water swimming opportunities. Ann was a very welcoming and helpful host. If peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings are your thing then this site is hard to beat.
