a little gem of getaway

This was only our 2nd adventure out in our new caravan. being new to towing we were a little concerned about access to the site as some reviews have suggested that the approach roads were a bit tricky to navigate, but I have to say that despite a lack of experience I had no problems and this was inspite of having to plan an alternate route courtesy of google maps due to west Bradford bridge being closed. Ann was warm and welcoming, even offering to help us reverse into our pitch. the site itself was lovely and peaceful, and the facilities were fine. we even woke up to pheasants wandering around the caravan in the morning. there is plenty of info on things to do locally, and because the weather was against us, we decided on a motoring tour of the forest of pendle. the views were stunning, and it was a lovely way to spend an otherwise slightly damp Saturday afternoon. we really wouldn't hesitate in staying again, can't wait to continue exploring the area. keep up the good work Ann.
