Ease of arrival/welcome

Relaxing site.

We stayed here for 2 nights to break a journey to the Cotswolds. We had a lovely stay,it is a nice fairly level field ,you need to use a solar panel or battery which is no problem for us.There is a very clean w,c which is a bonus. The location is off a fairly narrow lane, but it's only a short distance to the gate.We were welcomed by the owner, who said we could pitch wherever we wanted. The site has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, there are plenty of public footpaths a few mins walk away.I walked to Ralph's wood which is uphill, while not far my arthritic knee wasn't happy, but it's a great dog walk. The cemetery and church next door are charming. There is plenty of places to visit,to eat in and supermarkets can be found in Burnham and there is a very good co-op about 10 mins drive. We had a very relaxing couple of days,so peaceful and loved watching the geese and ducks going about there daily walks. We certainly will return for a longer break next time.
