Excellent site which is why we have been back numerous times. You can find your own quiet spot as there is simply loads of space at the location. There is no problem finding peace and solitude. The short walk into Hay allows you to explore the market town and surrounding countryside. if you are lucky to be there on a Wednesday then the Thursday market is not to be missed along with the newly renovated castle. After which a stroll around Hay-on-Wye and the peaceful river and then a short walk back to the site to simply chill out.
