Lovey peaceful CL within a few minutes walk of Hay on Wye. Restaurants starting to open ,although mainly towards the end of the week so we missed them. Lovely bookshops to browse. We felt very safe as all Covid measures adhered to. River walks are within minutes also - good canoeing. We are cyclists and did an absolutely classic ride over the Gospel pass - magnificent . We would love to come back. Some people have mentioned the tricky entrance, however, we are new to caravanning and have a small Basecamp - I was easily able to negotiate it - just went slowly. After turning right at the junction in Hay on Wye ( where you need to swing wide), the turning for the campsite is about 200m down the hill on the right, immediately after the little bridge If you miss the entrance you can carry on the to co-op and go round the car park to turn round.
