Our second visit to Dark Orchard, a lovely large field intersected by a small stream, dog friendly, loads of room to pitch, no dedicated pitches so choose your perfect spot ! Short wheelbase units can cross the stream into the smaller part of the site. No electric. Very quiet spot yet only 10 minutes walk into the gorgeous town of Hay on Wye. Lots of local walks nearby, the main one being along the River Wye. Loads of lovely little shops and eateries. One of our perfect sites ! Just park up and everything is within walking distance. So relaxing.
